Welcome!

Hi, my name is Ruoyu (Daniel) Xu. I’ve recently graduated from University of Toronto and Sheridan College. I was studying in both Art and Art History program and CCIT program (Communication, Culture, Information and Technology). I am a person with a sense of time and efficiency, and a fast learner. I have a wide range of knowledge, but I know that I can further explore the depth of my abilities.

As it is illustrated on U of T’s website, “the focus of the CCIT program is on the generation, diffusion, and social impact of new technologies, and how media and technologies interact with commerce, culture and communication. The CCIT program combines academic courses in the arts and social sciences taught at the University of Toronto Mississauga with hands-on applied courses in digital media and technology taught at both UTM and the Sheridan Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning.”

On the other hand, the University of Toronto Mississauga and Sheridan joint Art & Art History program combines the study of art history at U of T with studio art courses at Sheridan Institute. In these studios, students are introduced to contemporary art practices through problem-based learning, which encourages a range of personal approaches and solutions to visual expression.
